Registered Nurse

  • Position: Registered Nurse

  • Resident Admission Age: 65 years +

Reliant Recruitment looking for highly motivated experienced Qualified Registered nurse ( RGN, RMN, RNLD ) Registered Nurse, Adult/General Nurse, Mental health nurse or Learning Disability Nurse to work within family friendly care home based in West Midlands. Our Home is a friendly care home, offering nursing, residential, nursing memory and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
The extensively trained team will deliver all the specialist care and support services that loved ones require.

Purpose of Role: To achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective supervision of colleagues. To take management responsibility for a shift as directed.
Shift pattern and Hours: Unlike a hospital setting Nursing home can be much more accommodating with regards to more flexible shift patters. The manager can consider Fulltime/Part time/Days/Nights or Mixed shifts.

Duties:

  • Supporting and assisting with all personal care requirements
  • Charting or taking notes for others to review
  • Providing companionship and supportive listening
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status of the patient
  • Taking vitals, height, and weight
  • Preparing meals and feeding patients
  • Maintaining patient’s health equipment
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • Prompting and administering medication
  • Accompanying and transporting patients to appointments and/or social events
  • Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
  • Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities

Expected start date: Immediately

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent
